Stunning "The Soprano's" star Jamie Lynn Sigler admits that showbiz pressure to be thin almost made her take her own life.
The brunette beauty, who played Tony Soprano's daughter on the hit show, admits that she battled anorexia when she first rose to fame.
Sigler says having an eating disorder made her depressed, "I really just said, 'Why can't I be normal? Why can't I be happy? I have everything. I just don't understand. I don't want to live anymore.'"
The actress went on to face her demons, but says that she struggled to deal with the public's reaction to her weight gain.
According to the star, fans of the show posted comments on the official website questioning her healthier physique.
She said, "People just wrote the most horrible things like, 'How did she get so fat?' What happened to her?' It hurt so bad."
Sigler says that the taunts made her feel worse about herself and made her question her own life.
She said, "It got to the point where it was so overwhelming that suicide seriously crossed my mind."
