James McAvoy loves playing "d***s" in movies.
The actor - who can currently be seen starring alongside Angelina Jolie in assassin movie 'Wanted' - admits he prefers playing unlikeable characters to lovable ones.
He said: "I like romantic comedies. I've been in one and I f***ing loved it. I got to show off and I got to be a d**k. It's always fun to play d***s. That's why I loved 'The Last King of Scotland' because I got to be such a w****r."
James - who is married to Anne-Marie Duff, his co-star in hit 90s U.K. TV show 'Shameless' - also revealed he finds it hard to stop being critical of his co-stars, but often discovers his first impressions of people are correct.
He added to Details magazine: "I judge people very quickly. There was someone I worked with recently who, within five minutes, displayed all the attributes of a f***ing d**k, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt."
"Weeks later I was still there, going 'You're so f***ing self-obsessed.' I've spent a long time giving people the benefit of the doubt, and I'm tired of it.'"
