It seems like there may have been some family troubles before James Brown passed on and said goodbye for good on Christmas Day.
Although sad but true, it's been recently revealed that the legendary singer's five-year-old son was not included in his will.
For whatever reason, Brown's lawyer revealed on Thursday in South Carolina that James Jr. is the only child out of the Godfather of Soul's seven kids that will not receive any "moolah" as stated in the legal document.
And when it comes to Brown's home, it's been revealed that the estate hasn't been owned by the singer for years. Instead it is owned by his trust.
Buddy Dallas, the lawyer, explained, "Technically the trustees own it for the benefit of the trust. It was not in the name of James Brown and hasn't been that way for years."
James Jr., is the son of Brown and his partner, Tomi Rae Hynie.
