| Victoria Beckham has always been a major player in the fashion pack and now she has the unique haircut to prove it. The British wife-mother-poser has recently let go of her hair extensions and debuted a new, sleek look that coincides with her move to Los Angeles. | |
| Lately, the delay of a celebrity burial - which in some cases has been taking a ridiculous amount of days, if not weeks - has reached an entirely new level that screams out-of-control. Perhaps judges have failed to realize that humans aren't the superheroes you see in movies and bodies start to decompose and rot in a matter of days. In an eerie twist of fate, James Brown's passing has, in many ways, paralleled Anna Nicole Smith's death. The soul legend, who died on Christmas Day, has found himself in the middle of a paternity battle even after he is no longer on planet Earth and is probably singing the blues in heaven at all the chaos below. | |
| Even though family members of the late James Brown and Tomie Rae Hynie have finally agreed upon the final resting place for the famous singer who died Christmas Day, the burial probably won't take place until DNA samples have been collected from his body. Since Brown's death, several other paternity suits have been filed claiming James Brown as the father. Hynie contends that she was the wife of James Brown at the time of his death and that her son, James Jr., is the singer's son. She also claims that the 2001 will of James Brown is invalid because it was signed before the two were married and before the birth of James, Jr. However, Buddy Dallas, Brown's friend and attorney stated that at the time of the couple's vow, Hynie was still married to someone else. | |
| James Brown's six grown children and partner, Tomi Rae Hynie, have come to a decision on where the singer will be buried nearly two months after his death. Hynie's attorney, Robert Rosen, said the burial may take place within a few days and that the location is being kept confidential at the request of Brown's children. According to BBC, Rosen said, "The children and the wife, my client Tomi Rae Brown, have come to an agreement and they have decided that he will be buried in a decent place but it's going to be kept confidential. | |
| Tomi Rae Hynie, who claims to be the fourth wife of the late James Brown, has finally been allowed back into their Beech Island estate to retrieve her things. Judge Doyet Early also gave Hynie permission to videotape and snap pictures of the home's interior so that ownership of items under dispute can be determined. According to CNN, Hynie wore her wedding ring to court on Friday, but Brown's trustees still dispute the marriage. Hynie's attorneys have requested that an administrator be appointed to work with the trustees of the Brown estate. | |
| Tomi Rae Hynie, James Brown's partner before his death, has filed a petition in South Carolina's probate court to contest Brown's will, which did not include Hynie or the five-year-old son she had with the musician. Although Hynie and Brown swapped vows in 2001, attorneys for Brown's trust claim that the marriage was not legal because Hynie was not yet divorced. Plus, after the annulment of Hynie's marriage, the couple never made their marriage vows official. | |
