Paris Hilton could serve her jail time and be back at Teddy's bar by nightfall.
A sheriff's spokesperson has confirmed that the Hilton Hotel heiress may be freed much sooner than 45 days because of prison overcrowding. In fact, the starlet could just serve a few hours.
Spokesperson Steve Whitmore said, "She could be processed into jail and processed out hours later - that's possible. It would mainly be due to the jail overcrowding issue. It all depends on the inmate population at the time she's processed."
However, when Paris arrives at Los Angeles County on June 5, she will be treated like any other criminal about to be locked up.
The rep continued, "But the public can expect that the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department will make the best decision for everyone involved. We will treat [Hilton] as we would any other. That's our goal."
Paris has been trying to do everything in her power to get out of prison, but so far to no avail.
Meanwhile, in between packing her Louis Vuitton suitcase for jail, the reality TV star has been spotted with her on/off boyfriend.
According to Us Weekly magazine, Stavros Niarchos and Paris spent the night together at Teddy's recently.
A witness told the magazine, "Paris arrived around midnight with a group of girlfriends and seemed quite happy, chatting and laughing. Stavros arrived about an hour later and made a beeline for Paris' table when she gave him a big hug and a kiss. They spent most of the night together, laughing and cuddling and Paris leaned over and kissed him over and over again. She massaged his neck and ran her fingers through his hair."
Paris and Stavros' relationship has been strained because of reports that his wealthy Greek family do not approve of the amateur porn star. Now that she is going to jail, her popularity has probably at least decreased in their eyes.
