Jackie Chan blames Hollywood for his drunken stage invasion at a recent concert.

The martial arts star has accused movie bosses of ruining his musical ambitions and Chan was so desperate to prove his vocal talents he jumped on stage at a Hong Kong show.

He is quoted by America's New York Daily News newspaper: "I always wanted to be a singer, and I still try to get my singing included in films. I sing every time during the closing credits of my films, but somehow when the films get dubbed in English they also bring in a different closing singer for the credits - which is very disappointing."

The 'Rush Hour' actor admitted he was "drunk" when he caused chaos at the concert by jumping on stage and demanding a duet with Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jonathan Lee on July 10.

After asking for a duet, the 52-year-old actor tried to conduct the band and ended up stopping and starting the music several times.

As the audience began to heckle, Chan hurled insults back at them.
