Meg White has got married. The 34-year-old drummer and her guitarist lover Jackson Smith wed in a double ceremony held in the garden of Meg's White Stripes bandmate Jack White's home in Nashville last Friday.

Also tying the knot was Jack Lawrence - who plays bass in Jack's other bands, The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather - and his partner Jo McCaughey.

Meg White is engaged. The White Stripes drummer is set to wed guitarist Jackson Smith - son of punk rocker Patti Smith and her late musician husband Fred Smith - in a ceremony later this year.

Her representative said: "I can confirm Meg and Jackson will be married some time this year."

Lily Allen wants to be a Bond girl. The 22-year-old singer - who has unveiled a slimmer physique after embarking on a healthy eating plan recently - is desperate to star alongside Daniel Craig in the next British spy movie.

She said: "Any girl would admit she wants to appear in a Bond film. I'm no different."

Renee Zellweger is dating a journalist. The "Leatherheads" actress was spotted enjoying an intimate meal with MSNBC legal correspondent Dan Abrams at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, New York, on Saturday.

The couple canoodled throughout the evening, appearing completely at ease in each other's company.
