Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly found middle ground between Angelina Jolie's love of adoption and Oprah Winfrey's reluctance.
According to The New York Post newspapers Page Six, the acclaimed actor has adopted an African child...sort of.
DiCaprio, who has been nominated for two SAG awards leading up to his Oscar campaign, is financially supporting a young girl he met during production of "Blood Diamond".
The actor confirmed to "Extra" that he had met the girl during filming, saying, "There was a young girl that was on the movie that I spent a lot of time with."
According to columnist Cindy Adams, DiCaprio is spending monthly payments to the girl who will continue to live in Africa, rather than move to the U.S with him.
Adams adds that he will be "parenting" the girl via phone calls.
