Naomi Watts has finally given birth after sporting a very large baby bump over the past month.
The Australian actress looked increasingly uncomfortable in the days leading up to the delivery of Alexander Pete Schreiber, her first child with fiance Liev Schreiber.
The stars have kept a reasonably low profile during the pregnancy, only stepping out for events such as the Tony Awards and the Academy Awards. Both times Naomi showed how to perfect pregnancy-chic with stunning designer gowns.
Alexander was born on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles. He weighed in at eight pound.
On July 21, Naomi spent the day with friends celebrating her impending motherhood with a baby shower at her Brentwood home. Fellow star and mother Kate Hudson was one of the guests. Naomi's BFF Nicole Kidman is currently filming "Australia" in their homeland.
Naomi and Liev began dating in 2005.
