Is the buzz on Madonna and Guy Ritchie's marriage just a hype to help her world tour? At least that's what one celebrity website thinks so after quoting their sources.

TMZ claims that the pop superstar and her director husband are just using the media to their advantage, and the divorce drama is just part of their scheme to help Madonna's "Sticky and Sweet" world tour earn big bucks.

Quoting different sources, the website says the couple plan to officially separate later this year, after the tour as the concerts are expected to reach $300 million.

Also, the fuss surrounding the status of their relationship has been planned out for months. Madonna is expected to appear in public often until her tour to "generate a lot of publicity," and then the news of their marriage's rocky path will slowly leak out. This will help the Material Girl to be on the cover of tabloids and magazines around the world.

As it happens, the marriage was really over even before the whole splitville murmur began. But as Madonna and the "Revolver" director are friends, they decide to milk out more cash from the tour by generating the buzz.

TMZ quotes their source as saying, "She is simply playing the media - and the public - as usual."
