Ioan Gruffudd married his long-term girlfriend in a secret Mexico ceremony on Friday night.
The 'Fantastic Four' actor wed actress Alice Evans in an intimate ceremony at The One and Only Palmilla Hotel in Los Cabos, in front of friends and family who made the trip from Ioan's native Wales and Alice's hometown of Bristol.
A source close to Ioan said: "It was an intimate gathering. Friends and family traveled all over the world for it."
The ceremony was also attended by Ioan's best friend, 'Brothers and Sisters' star Matthew Rhys. Ioan, 33, wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue wool crepe suit for the ceremony, to compliment 36-year-old Alice's antique white organza strapless gown, also designed by Armani.
The actor - who met Alice when they starred together in '102 Dalmatians' in 2000 - is known for shunning his celebrity status, and recently vowed to never allow his wedding to be photographed for a glossy magazine.
He said: "I wouldn't want to go anywhere near one of those magazines - it just turns the day into a production."
