With her wedding celebrations going on for over a week, Elizabeth Hurley may shed a lot of tears.
The model, actress and swimwear designer married her long-time boyfriend, Arun Nayar in England and is continuing the festivities in India throughout the week. However, in between the ceremonies and partying, the new husband and wife had time to talk to Britain's Hello! magazine.
The English star told the publication, "I cried in the church, during Elton's speech and during our first dance. I'm afraid my stiff upper lip deserted me."
The Estee Lauder spokesperson was walked down the aisle by Elton John, one of the many famous faces including Elle McPherson and designer Valentino who attended the nuptials.
But the emotion wasn't just left to the bride. Nayar, a 42-year-old business man, revealed he to had some tears.
He said, "I have never seen anyone look so beautiful, and I was so full of emotion that I had to struggle not to cry. I felt so full of love for her."
Hugh Grant, Hurley's ex-partner of 14-years was left off the A-list guest list. The "Notting Hill" star had told reporters that an invite would be strange. Hurley continued, "We adore our exes but we thought it would make all four of us feel a bit sad."
Hurley's time as a characteristic bride wasn't just limited to her wedding day. Like many women, she reportedly wanted to look her best on the big day and went on a new diet to ensure there would be no bad angles in her wedding pictures.
A source told Britain's Grazier magazine that the model went on a caveman diet, eating only seafood, lean meat and fruit to rid any extra pounds.
The source said, "In the last few weeks she started to worry about a few extra pounds that wouldn't shift, particularly around the tummy area. After just a few days on the diet her stomach was totally flat."
