Anne Hathaway's favorite Oscars moment was being swept off her feet by Hugh Jackman. The "Rachel Getting Married" star - who was nominated in the Best Actress category - performed on stage with 40-year-old Hugh in a musical tribute to Best Picture nominee "Frost/Nixon" on Sunday.

When asked what the best part of her evening was, Anne said: "I'd have to say being in Hugh Jackman's arms and him carrying me on stage!"

Hugh Jackman made a fan faint when he kissed her.

The 'Australia' actor decided to pay the woman - who works as a switchboard operator for US TV programme 'The Tonight Show' - a surprise visit after he discovered she wasn't allowed to leave her post to meet him when he appeared on the show.

Her friends told Hugh - who was voted the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine last year - it was her birthday, so he crept up behind her whispered "Happy Birthday" and then kissed her on the neck.

Nicole Kidman isn't "proud" of her performance in "Australia." The 41-year-old actress has revealed she "squirmed" in her seat throughout the Sydney premiere because she was so uncomfortable watching herself on screen.

She said: "I can't look at this movie and be proud of what I've done. I sat there, and I looked at Keith and went, 'Am I any good in this movie?' But I thought Brandon Walters and Hugh Jackman were wonderful. It's just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all."

Hugh Jackman is being held responsible for breaking his brother-in-law's leg, wrist and nose. The "Australia" actor's sister Sonya banned him from using her husband Richard as his stunt double after he broke so many bones on set.

Hugh, 40, said: "My brother-in-law has doubled for me in a few of my movies. It's a weird situation, though, because things can go wrong."

Hugh Jackman was left red-faced after fainting on the first day of filming "Australia." The actor, who returned to his native country to star in the movie alongside Nicole Kidman, admits shooting his first scene proved too much after he spent hours in the extreme heat.

He said: "I collapsed on pretty much on the first day of filming. Which was not the most macho way to start. It was incredibly hot and I was on a horse waiting to shoot a scene with cattle. About 30 minutes later and I said, 'Do you think we are nearly ready to go? It is pretty hot out here.

Kate Beckinsale could "handle herself" in prison. The 35-year-old actress - who has played an inmate in many of her films - thinks she would have no trouble coping in jail.

She said: "It's weird because I do feel like I have done more of my fair share of time. I did the prison thing in 'Brokedown Palace,' I've done the Philippines prison."
