Any rumors suggesting Terrence Howard and Naomi Campbell are an item are false, according to the actor.
Howard, a one time Oscar nominee, told PEOPLE, "You gotta remember now, I'm still married."
The star is currently separated from his wife Lori, who is currently proceeding with a divorce. The couple, who married in 1989 and have had an on/off relationship since, have three children together.
Howard continued, "I'm still trying to get my wife back. I'm always gonna, you know, till she puts the last nail in that coffin, and I'm hoping she don't. [She] filed for divorce but I'm still trying to campaign. My three kids are campaigning for me, too. They'll make sure that anybody who comes sniffing around gets a bloody nose."
The "Hustle And Flow" actor believes his connection in the media to supermodel Campbell stems from their relationship with Quincy Jones.
He said, "I'm linked to Naomi Campbell in a sense that we both have a mentor in Quincy Jones. We've shared a lot of great moments and ideas. That's the truth of it. I've only known her two weeks!"
However, Howard has some advice for the model, who has been in and out of court on assault charges. He said, "Maintain your majestic composure at all times."
