Céline Dion delighted a waiter by tipping him $100 for an Italian takeaway.

The Canadian singer ordered an impressive 14 dishes of ravioli with tomatoes and peppers from renowned New York restaurant Da Tommaso and waited in her car while the order was being prepared.

Céline was clearly impressed with the service and tipped the waiter $100 when he brought the food out to her car. She then settled the $500 bill in cash.

The "My Heart Will Go On" star, who has a six-year-old son René-Charles with husband René Angelil, isn't the only celebrity with a reputation as a good tipper.

"Groundhog Day" star Bill Murray is known for leaving a 120 percent tip on top of his restaurant bills and loves entertaining staff with funny stories and games.

Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx regularly hands out hundreds of dollars to nightclub staff when he parties in Los Angeles and Miami.

One waitress said, "One night's worth of tips from Jamie Foxx pays my entire rent for the month. He is my hero."
