Former Lizzie Mcguire star Hilary Duff is not yet ready to start her own family. This is what the 20-year-old singer/actress told Cosmopolitan magazine in its January issue.
"I'm definitely not ready to get married. I think a reason that people in this business get married young is that they feel like everything comes to them sooner in life. It's normal to be like, 'Okay, what's next?'"
Duff's ex, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, is currently on the way to start a family with his girlfriend, Nicole Richie who is pregnant with their child. Duff is now dating NHL player Mike Comrie.
Meanwhile, she has also a lot to say about Jennifer Love Hewitt's controversial outburst on her website about the media calling her fat.
"You lose some happiness when it's all you think about. There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight, but I'm better not stressing about my body all the time.
"It's not attractive when girls get super-skinny. Guys don't like it. Girls don't like you as much," she says.
