Ventimiglia, who appears in a fashion story for GQ Magazine, doesn't mind the attention but says he likes to keep his private life as private as possible.
He and Panettiere have been hounded by the press since they were spotted looking like a couple. Fans have also joined the "Halo" frenzy by making YouTube videos of the couple each time they are seen in public.
If Ventimiglia is dating his co-star it wouldn't be the first time. He dated "Gilmore Girls" co-star Alexis Bledel, who played Rory Gilmore while he played her boyfriend Jess, for several years.
