Heather Mills is looking for another U.S. home. The former model - who won $50 million in her divorce settlement from Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney - recently splashed out over $5 million on a New York apartment and is now hoping to buy a property in West Hollywood or Beverly Hills.

However, Heather's search has so far been unsuccessful and she has reportedly been losing her temper with real estate agents who are ignoring her strict budget of no more than $1,000,000.

A source said: "She has registered with Prudential Realty and is giving them a really hard time, because she will only pay $1,00,000 and refuses to budge."

Heather's representative claims she had "no idea" the former model is planning to snap up a second property in America.

The 40-year-old vegan is set to live in her New York apartment with her four-year-old daughter Beatrice, from her marriage to Paul.

The apartment is in the prestigious 173 Perry Street block, designed by architect Richard Meier, and boasts celebrity neighbors including Nicole Kidman and Calvin Klein.

It is located in the city's West Village area and lies just half a mile from a store owned by Heather's ex-stepdaughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney.
