Richie Sambora has returned to rehab. The Bon Jovi guitarist - who spent a week on "detox" at Los Angeles' UCLA Medical Centre in June - has checked into a private room at Utah's Cirque Lodge where Lindsay Lohan is also a patient.

A representative for Sambora - who is due to go back on tour with the band next month - said he is continuing the treatment he began in June.

Earlier this year, the 48-year-old rocker insisted his visit to the UCLA Medical Center had been a "detox" and was adamant he "did not check into rehab."
