It is never the "Simple Life" for Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, especially where their friendship is concerned.
The two stars have not been seen holding hands, shopping, partying, giggling - or whatever it is that they do - for some time now.
The distance between the two princesses of the young Hollywood social circles has prompted some gossips to wonder if there is trouble in paradise?
X17online, the paparazzi agency who spends their days trailing the girls around Los Angeles, has pointed out that the starlets have not been attached at their boney hips lately.
Instead, Nicole has been wining and dining with Sophie Monk, the fiancee of Benji Madden. Pint-size Nicole has also been spending more and more time with her boyfriend, Benji's brother Joel.
Another new couple to reemerge is Nicole and Lindsay Lohan. The stars were BFF's back in their ultra skinny days but have kept their friendship out of the public eye since. Now they may have reconciled after x17 photographers caught the girls out and about on the town together.
X17 comments, "Looks like there's yet another love triangle brewing in Hollywood, this one between Lindsay, Paris and Nicole!?! I think we're in for a three-way... three-way celebrity feud, that is!"
Maybe Paris doesn't have time for her girlfriends anymore, just her "Desperate Housewife" Josh Henderson.
