David Hasselhoff knows how to be the center of attention - even if it means falling asleep during an interview.
The former Baywatch star recently fell asleep while doing an interview on British TV for his new single "Jump In My Car."
Hasselhoff was interviewed on Sunday by GMTV host Jenni Falconer, whom he tried to flirt with and display some of his charming ways. The actor was also relieved upon finding out the TV host was not a bride-to-be.
According to StarPulse, he said, "You're not engaged. Oh, I have a chance."
Later in the show, Hasselhoff strut his stuff by performing some hip-shaking dance moves to his new single and making his way towards Falconer. Then, during a commercial break, the actor suddenly fell asleep.
Despite reports saying he was drunk at the time of the embarrassing incident, GMTV producers say there was no evidence to suggest he had been drinking.
A spokesperson for the early morning show said, "We do not believe he was drunk. There was no smell of alcohol."
The 54-year old blames his sudden sleepiness to simply being exhausted from non-stop traveling.
He said, "I was really tired. I've been in Vancouver then Leeds, then Manchester then Croydon."
