David Hasselhoff is trying to force his estranged wife into rehab. The former "Baywatch" star has filed papers with Los Angeles Superior Courtto get a judge to make Pamela Bach get treatment for an alleged drug problem.
In a statement, her lawyer, Gary Mitchell, said: "Pamela has no history of drug use and the allegations are completely false...The request is in reference to a recent surgery she had and a prescription for Vicodin, but she has not abused Vicodin and has actually taken less than the prescribed amount."
Hasselhoff, 53, is currently locked in a bitter divorce with the actress - who he has two teenage daughters with.
In March, 43-year-old Bach filed a request for a restraining order against the actor, accusing him of domestic violence. She claims he broke her nose, verbally abused her and physically threatened her on several occasions during their 16-year marriage.
Hasselhoff's lawyer refutes the allegations, saying: "David categoricallydenies that he has engaged in the conduct alleged by his wife...He says the only person who broke his wife's nose is her plastic surgeon."
The actor - nicknamed "The Hoff" - is best known for playing lifeguard MitchBuchannon in TV's "Baywatch" and Michael Knight on the 1980s series "KnightRider."
