Most people wouldn't dream of walking onstage in front of a packed house naked. However, to Daniel Radcliffe it was just "scary."
The 17-year-old actor has opened up about his stage debut in London's West End.
Radcliffe shed more than his Harry Potter cape when he starred in the play, "Equus."
Talking to U.K. TV host Jonathan Ross, Radcliffe said, "I wasn't so much intimidated by the part but by the thought of going on stage and sustaining the energy for two-and-a-half hours."
Wanting to prove himself as a serious actor, Radcliffe continued, "The whole point of doing something different is to show that you can, so hopefully it's achieved that...in any case, given this opportunity, you would be really dumb to turn it down."
The teenager even dismissed reports that he worked extra hard to make sure he looked in top form for his naked debut.
He said, "There were ridiculous stories in the papers about me doing seven hours a day in the gym... I'm not that committed."
