Halle Berry may be in a happy relationship with a gorgeous Canadian model, but that doesn't mean she is prepared to walk down the aisle with him.
The Oscar winner has been married twice before but the bad experiences and two divorces has scared her off the idea forever.
She told InStyle magazine, "I will never, never get married again."
The stunning star says that her decision to stay unwed came from a realization that a couple can be happy without a wedding.
She said, "It's just that now I've come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper. After my last relationship [with actor Michael Ealy] broke up I was feeling like, well, it wasn't that I didn't want to be in a relationship, it's just that I thought it would be okay to be on my own."
Berry's latest boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, is different to other men she has dated or married.
The "Catwoman" star continued, "I had to work at this a little. It wasn't a slam dunk; it wasn't the guy just showering affection on me. It made it more interesting. We were equally matched - put it that way."
While she doesn't want to get married, Berry says she still wants to have a family.
She said, "I definitely want children. Very much. I want my kids to realize it's only through hard work that any success or real joy comes. It's not about money; it's the intangible rewards - having integrity and doing what you say you're going to do."
