Macaulay Culkin is set to strip off in a new movie about group sex.

The former child actor, who shot to fame in family comedy 'Home Alone', is to star with ex-'Buffy The Vampire' star Eliza Dushku in the as yet untitled film.

Culkin, 25, will play one half of a couple who visit a sex therapist to overcome their bedroom problems and are advised to experiment with group sex.

He said: "I read a lot of material and I loved this script.

"It's really about the pressure that leads them to experiment, the anticipation leading up to the event and then the fallout."

Last month, Culkin had to flee Israel to escape rocket attacks by terrorist organisation Hezbollah.

The actor had been holidaying in Haifa with 'That '70s Show' actress Mila Kunis when the group attacked the city.

Fearing his safety and the safety of Junis, Culkin decided the pair should leave the country immediately rather than risk their lives.

Fighting in the region started after Hezbollah captured two Israeli soldiers.
