"Grey's Anatomy" Kate Walsh Engaged To Studio Executive

There may not have been too much love on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" in the past year, but love is certainly abound in Kate Walsh's life.

Actress Kate has announced she is engaged to her beau, studio executive Alex Young. The star of ABC's "Grey's" says the big moment happened recently and that she couldn't be happier about tying the knot.

Kate told Us Weekly, "It happened a few days ago. I'm on cloud nine."

No word on a wedding date yet.

This year will also mark another big celebration for the actress, who is set to launch a "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff titled "Private Practice." Kate will continue to play her character Dr. Addison Shepherd in the new series.
