Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton fires back at Sony BMG for suing him.

The blogger, whose real name is Mario Lavendiera, has been sued by the music giant for streaming several unreleased and unauthorized Britney Spears songs on his website. Even before the "Toxic" singer's "Blackout" album had been released, several tracks that are alleged demo recordings were circulated on the Internet and he posted some of them on his website.

Lavendeira insisted he never made the songs available for download.

He writes on his Website PerezHilton.com, "When these songs first leaked, there was a lot of doubt as to whether they were Britney or a fake. Plus, we never made any music downloadable."

"Every time we saw a take-down notice from the R.I.A.A. (Recording Industry Association of America), we complied immediately. By the way, no one at Sony BMG ever contacted us about Britney."

Lavendeira says that he will refuse to support any Sony BMG artists on his site in the future.

He continues, "Why should we help the company [that is] suing us make money???? Especially when their lawsuit is personal."

He claims although there were lots of others on the Internet that posted songs from the company, his site is the only one being sued by them.
