The latest celebrity paternity case, between Melanie Brown and Eddie Murphy, is continuing to escalate.
While Angel Iris Murphy Brown is only weeks old, her famous mother, former Spice Girl Mel B, continues to insist that Eddie is the father. But it is not just Eddie's paternity that is being questioned. The singer is also raising an eyebrow to his latest relationship with TV producer Tracey Edmonds.
Mel said, "Is that relationship real? When a person acts like that, which is out of character, it's all very odd. It's hurtful and undignified."
The English star insists that her relationship with the Oscar nominee was genuine.
She continued, "I wouldn't act like that, not to somebody who I've been telling that I love every day. We had an amazing connection."
Their connection may be extra strong, because according to Mel's alleged former lesbian lover, she would take Eddie back in an instant if she was interested.
Christa Parker reportedly told Closer magazine, "Mel admitted to me she would always love Eddie. Even after the way he has treated her and snubbed his own daughter, I think Mel would still take him back."
That is not the only this Christa has commented on. The big-mouthed friend has revealed that the "Girl Power" star was once in a lesbian relationship with a woman named Christine - before hooking up with comic Eddie.
Christa said, "Mel told me they'd split because Christine wanted more commitment."
Mel has agreed to have Angel Iris put through a paternity DNA test to prove once and for all that Eddie is the father.
