A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Guy was having a low-key meal by the pool with the Downeys. He was eating slowly and seemed dispirited."

The "300" star, who was romantically linked to Cameron Diaz earlier this month, has been out on a few dates with the professional dancer. Cheryl, 23, revealed the pair have already enjoyed some kisses.

The foursome met at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel just after midnight for a very late dinner, laughing and joking together into the early hours.
