George Clooney has vowed to carry on riding his motorbike despite his recent crash.

The "Michael Clayton" star - who suffered a hairline rib fracture after he and girlfriend Sarah Larson were reportedly hit by a car in New Jersey last month - has no intention of giving up his beloved Harley-Davidson bike.

He said, "I ride a motorcycle when I'm home in Los Angeles. It's my main mode of transportation. I've been riding for 30 years, and I've had three accidents, which isn't bad odds. I'll keep riding."

Clooney also insists he will never run for the U.S. presidency, even though he takes a keen interest in politics.

He told Time magazine, "I'm not considering a career in politics. As an advocate, I can take a side and stand by it and not have to worry about ticking off some constituents who helped get me elected. I don't want all those kinds of strings attached."

Last week, Brad Pitt revealed he thought his 'Ocean's Thirteen' co-star would make a good U.S. President.

Pitt said, "I have no desire to do that at this point in my life. Maybe I serve better by not going through that door. George should do it! He'd be quite good. Or maybe Ben Affleck should run."
