George Clooney splashed out $20 on a glass of lemonade.

A group of young children on their spring break set up a lemonade stand nearthe set of the charitable star's latest movie, "Leatherheads," which hevisited for a refreshing drink yesterday.

Carter Fontaine, aged 10, six-year-old Chandler and five-year-old Chasewere selling glasses of lemonade for 25 cents.

George came over and posed for pictures with the children's mother,Courtney, and her friends, so she gave him the lemonade for free.

But the "Ocean's Thirteen" star insisted on paying and later sent someoneover to the stall with a $20 dollar bill and refused to accept any change.

Soon Chandler made a sign reading "George Clooney was here!" and proudlydisplayed it next to the trio's stall.

George is starring and directing in the movie about the early days ofprofessional American football.

It is being filmed in North and South Carolina and also stars John Krasinskiand Renee Zellweger. It is due for release in December.
