With adoption being the latest trend in Hollywood lately, George Clooney now wants to be in on the act.

George says he wants to "adopt" a 24-year-old girl.

"The Good German" star has joked about starting a family and says he wants to "adopt" a rich, beautiful young girl.

George told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I'm going to adopt a good-looking 24-year-old girl with some cash."

The 45-year-old recently revealed he plans to abandon his healthy lifestyle in favor of a pleasure binge.

He said, "I'm going to eat, drink and be merry. And screw what happens to my appearance while I do it!"

However, George gained more than 30 pounds to play an overweight, bearded CIA officer in 2005's "Syriana" and didn't enjoy it at all.

He said, "There was nothing fun about it. There was not a moment that was fun about shooting this film. That's not a slap on the film or the director Stephen Gaghan. It's just that everybody has that year where you age a decade and this was that one for me."
