George Clooney Not Engaged

George Clooney is not engaged. The former "E.R." actor adamantly denies reports that he has proposed to his girlfriend Sarah Larson.

Clooney's rep says, "These reports are not true."

The reports were further fueled Monday when a restaurant staff told a newspaper in Italy that the two are indeed engaged, although just being mum about it.

The staff said, "They haven't made any announcement yet, but there are people in this town who know more than me. They say the couple are already engaged."

The 46-year-old star and the 29-year-old cocktail waitress have been dating since mid-2007. They were both involved in a motorcycle accident in September when they were hit by a car. Clooney suffered a broken rib and Larson broke two toes.
