The charming George Clooney is reportedly smitten by a new woman in his life.
The actor is said to be dating an older woman-52-year-old actress Ellen Barkin-and has revealed to friends that he is crazy about her.
The couple met while filming his new movie "Oceans Thirteen" and though George, 45, usually dates younger women he has been telling friends he is "electrified" by newly-divorced Ellen.
A friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "It's a match made in heaven. George has been a shoulder to cry on for Ellen-he's helping her get over the divorce. She fancies him like mad and you can cut the sexual chemistry on set with a knife. He is so different from her ex-husband, which she loves."
"Sea of Love" star Ellen, who has two children, was left stunned in January when she was served with divorce papers by her second husband Ron Perelman, the billionaire owner of Revlon.
Security guards arrived at her marital home with instructions to remain there until she moved out. Her husband never returned.
The divorce moved quickly and was granted in just 26 days, with Ellen rumored to have received at least $13 million thanks to a secret pre-nuptial agreement.
While filming "Oceans Thirteen," she and George are said to have bonded during a series of heart-to-heart chats and fast rides on his motorcycles.
Their co-star Brad Pitt is said to have introduced girlfriend Angelina Jolie to Ellen and wants the couples to double-date.
George's last girlfriend, Krista Allen, was ten years younger than him and on-off girlfriend Lisa Snowdon is 34.
