Being the best friend of the queen of everything, Oprah Winfrey, has its perks. Rumor has it that Oprah's BFF, Gayle King, could be the newest member of "The View" cast.
Gayle started her career as a newswoman in Hartford, Connecticut, and has had her own syndicated talk show. Right now she's the editorial director for Oprah's O magazine.
Insiders reveal that Rosie O'Donnell, "The View"'s replacement for Meredith Vieira, who is leaving to replace Katie Couric on "Today", loves the idea, and would even be open to Gayle moderating the show if she so desires.
No word on Star Jones Reynold's place at the table if Gayle does join the cast.
