Lane Garrison has spoken to the media for the first time since he was involved in a fatal car accident.
The "Prison Break" star has been charged with one felony count each of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and without gross negligence, driving under the influence causing injury to multiple victims and driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol level causing injury.
The 26-year old actor told PEOPLE, "I pray every day for all the families involved. I realize I will live with a sense of guilt for the rest of my life."
Garrison was driving his Land Rover when it hit a tree, killing one 17-year old boy, Vahagan Setian, and injuring two 15-year-old girls.
Setian's family said in a statement that they are "gratified" by the charge.
Their lawyer continued, "They have lost their only child due to Lane Garrison's recklessness."
When Garrison appears in court on April 11, his lawyer says, "We plan to plead guilty to some charges and the sentencing will be up to the judge. Lane accepts responsibility; the judge will decide sentencing and Lane will accept it."
