France's former first lady, Cecilia Ciganer-Albeniz, married Moroccan-born public relations executive Richard Attias on Sunday at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center. Ciganer-Albeniz divorced French President Nicolas Sarkozy on October 18 after 11 years of marriage.
Ciganer-Albeniz, 50, and Attias, 48, wed in front of 148 guests. The bride wore a Versace gown.
The night before the wedding, the couple and two busloads of family and friends, including the bride's 11-year-old son Louis from her marriage to Sarkozy, attended the Broadway show "Mama Mia!" The happy couple even got a shout out at the end of the show when cast member Andy Kelso said, "Congratulations to Cecelia and Richard."
Ciganer-Albeniz wasn't the first to remarry after the presidential divorce. Her ex-husband, Sarkozy, wed former model Carla Bruni on February 2.
