Reports are claiming that Farrah Fawcett is facing a new dose of health challenges.
The former "Charlie's Angels" star has been in remission from colorectal cancer since February 2007. However, the doctors have allegedly found a small malignant polyp and fear that cancer could spread.
The polyp was found during a routine check-up to ensure Farrah's health. According to reports, a "small metallic seed" has been implanted into the cancerous area to emit radiation.
Farrah's friend, Cheryl Ladd, recently said that the actress is in good health.
She said, "I understand that she's doing very, very well."
Former "Charlie's Angels" co-star, Jaclyn Smith, confirmed that Farrah's good health shortly after her remission was announced.
Jaclyn said, "Farrah is great and fine now. She was surrounded with love and lots of friends."
When she discovered that she was healthy again, Farrah released a statement to "Access Hollywood" detailing her struggle.
She said, "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I have been on a journey for the past four months and during this time received a tremendously aggressive treatment which doctors initially warned me would be the most difficult fight of my life. I was told they needed me to 'bite the bullet' and that would require great courage and unfailing determination. In the face of excruciating pain and uncertainty, I never lost hope and it never occurred to me to stop fighting - not ever."
The star has yet to confirm the reports about her health.
