Ashlee Simpson-Wentz called her husband "horrible" during a drunken public argument. The "Outta My Head" star is said to have fought with Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz during his DJ set at his Chicago bar Angels and Kings at a party to mark the venue being open for a year on Saturday.

After aiming a series of series of barbed comments at Pete, Ashlee insisted he take her home early.

Pete Wentz hates groups who write lots of songs. The Fall Out Boy bassist sparked rumors the band are set to split last week when he said they had no plans for new material, but he now insists they are staying together.

He said: "I think I fuelled that rumor accidentally. I think that when someone asked me if we were working on any new Fall Out Boy songs, I said, 'No, not right now.'"

Pete Wentz wants to buy Michael Jackson's golf cart. The Fall Out Boy rocker - whose band covered Michael's hit "Beat It" last year - was amazed to hear Michael was planning to auction off some of his possessions next month, and is determined to get his hands on a piece of memorabilia.

He said: "I want that golf cart which has him dressed up with Peter Pan on the front of it!"

Pete Wentz is convinced he is going to be murdered.

The Fall Out Boy star is so paranoid his life is going to be taken, he won't open his front door in case someone is there waiting to kill him.

Pete - who attempted suicide in 2005 - said: "I refuse to answer my front door because I'm convinced someone is going to murder me.
