Former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, says in an interview that despite trying to help his son fight drug addiction numerous times, he has now severed ties with him.
The 52-year-old actor adopted 32-year-old Christopher and his sister Charlotte after he married their mother, Cassandra Harris, who later died of cancer.
Brosnan also says he believes his son can beat cocaine and heroin addiction even though he has been unsuccessful previously.
Brosnan adds "I can only have strong faith and believe he will recover. He has tested everybody in this family, but none more so than himself. He knows how to get out. He doesn't want to. It's painful because you shut down. You never completely cut them off, but I have cut Christopher off. I had to say, 'Go. Get busy living, or get busy dying.' He has my prayers."
