Evan Rachel Wood is going to following in her boyfriends platform heeled boots.

The 19-year-old actress, who has been in a controversial relationship with 38-year-old Marilyn Manson since Christmas, has expressed a desire to sing.

The "Thirteen" star told Arena magazine that she wants to make her own music. She said, "I'm probably more passionate about music than acting, but I don't want to do it half-assed. And when I do, I get to deal with the rumors flying around that my boyfriend wrote all my songs and that I'm just using him for a singing career! Won't that be great?"

Evan says that she will not be recording any songs with her hard rocking boyfriend because of his loyal fan base. She said, "We'd just be crucified. People wouldn't really accept that. He's got such a hardcore fan base, and his fans mean a lot to him. I wouldn't want to go there."

But one big difference in the couple is their tattoo collection. While Marilyn is proud to display his body art, Evan is covering up one of her latest tattoos. The "Across The Universe" star had a Beatles tribute tattoo inked but is now covering because people are confused by the design.

She said, "It's supposed to be a strawberry with leaves in the shape of a bird, but everybody says, 'Is that a ferret sticking out of an apple?' It's a lightning bolt - for David Bowie, who inspired me to act and sing - and a black heart. That was my present (from Manson). Somebody came to the house. We both got black hearts. It represents mad love."

The teen's parents may have accepted her relationship with a man double her age, but Evan's mom does not like her tattoos. She said, "It took me a while to tell my mom about this last one. But she's cool with it now. I even told her I was getting the Beatles one covered up. She's like, 'Great, just call me when you're done'."

Marilyn left his wife Dita Von Teese for Evan.
