Actress Eva Longoria says she won't renew her contract with the hit TV show "Desperate Housewives" because she is ready to move her talent to the big screen and be a movie star.

Eva, who plays hot and bothered Gabrielle Solis on the series, is eager to move on to the silver screen, and insists no amount of money could convince her to stay. Eva was asked during an interview how long did she think the show would be on the air and she replied, "God, I hope not past our contract. Honestly, I think shows wear out their welcome. I don't want to be on 'Seventh Heaven' - on for 20 years and no one's really watching and it's hanging on by a thread.

"Even now there's no amount of money that would make me decide something for a career. And I want to do movies anyway."
