Eva Longoria is taking her husband Tony Parker's surname. The 'Desperate Housewives' star - who married the NBA basketball star in Paris in July - is sticking with tradition and taking on her husband's name. She will now be referred to as Eva Longoria Parker.
Eva, 32, said: "I actually completely adopted the new name and I love it - I'm a Parker now!"
"I love every bit of it - I like the tradition of changing the name."
"I've been getting used to being called Mrs. Parker for a while now, it's really nice to hear. Especially in Texas, everyone is really respectful there."
The Texan actress - who plays glamorous housewife Gabrielle Lang in the hit TV show - hosted the Padres Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer) annual benefit in Los Angeles, along with actor George Lopez last week.
Asked if there was any chance of her becoming a parent in the near future, Eva said: "Not for me, and not for Gabrielle."
