Another celebrity couple have reportedly broken up after a year of professing their love to the media. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have decided to go their separate ways after demanding careers and long-distance became factors they couldn't ignore.
The split comes just days after a spokesperson for the "Desperate Housewives" actress confirmed the couple were "going through a very difficult time."
A source close to Eva and basketball star Tony told People magazine, "They did break up. It's amicable. They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out. It's because of the distance, their demanding careers and not living in same city. It's been going on for a while."
Eva, 31, and Tony, 24, first met in November 2004 but have been dating since August 2005.
Earlier this year, the actress claimed she and Tony were going to "stay together forever."
She gushed, "There's no way in the world I would rather be single. I've said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is because we're too lazy to look for someone else."
