| Eric Bana was a "hopeless romantic" when he was younger. "The Time Traveler's Wife" star confessed that as well as a lifelong love of cars, he was a ladies' man in his teenage years, but not interested in "serious" girls. He said: "I was always getting crushes on girls - to be honest I was a hopeless romantic. I never went through a pure car stage. For me, girls were never off the table. I liked girls with a sense of fun. I was never into the more serious ones." | |
| Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were being lined up to star in the "Time Traveler's Wife" - before their split. The former couple - who separated in January 2005 before finalizing their divorce in October 2005 - would have been ideal for the lead roles of Chicago librarian Henry DeTamble and his love interest Clare Abshire, according to screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin. Bruce said: "I thought Brad and Jennifer would be perfect for this film. I just saw them as a perfect version of Henry and Clare." | |
| Eric Bana has been a "hopeless romantic" since he was a teenager. The "Time Traveler's Wife" star found it hard to concentrate at school because there were so many girls he liked. The 41-year-old star said: "I was always getting crushes on girls. To be honest I was a hopeless romantic. I love cars but I never went through a pure car stage. For me, girls were never off the table. I liked girls with a sense of fun. I was never into the more serious ones!" | |
| Eric Bana thinks people who work out have no friends. The "Time Traveler's Wife" actor isn't concerned about having a perfect body because he would rather spend his free time enjoying himself. He told Access Hollywood: "Abs are for people with no friends. I don't do the ab thing. I've even had them once, actually, for a film, and they were always covered up. I just said to myself, 'Well, I'll just never do that again.' That was a waste of time. There's so much more to enjoy in life." | | | | | |
