Emma Watson has been accepted into Yale University. The 18-year-old actress - who plays brainbox Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise - is thrilled by the offer of a place to study at the prestigious American college.

Emma broke the news on her internet blog, excitedly posting: "I got into Yale!"

Emma - who plays Hermione Granger in the hit wizard franchise - said: "Well I've never had to do it before so I can't say I have any techniques. I've never had to kiss anyone on screen so it is all new to me. Of course I am nervous about it."

Emma Watson finds being called sexy "embarrassing and confusing." The 18-year-old actress - who plays Hermione in the "Harry Potter" film franchise - does not want to be known for her looks, and has no interest in starring in raunchy photo-shoots.

She said: "I find the whole concept of being 'sexy' embarrassing and confusing. If I do an interview with photographs people desperately want to change me - dye my hair blonder, pluck my eyebrows, give me a fringe."

Emma Watson has "no need for money in her life." The 'Harry Potter' actress - estimated to be worth $20 million - will never agree to star in a film purely for financial gain.

Emma, 18, said: "The wealth side of it hasn't hit me yet because I have no need for money in my life. My life will not be motivated by money."
