The Spice Girls are set to headline Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday concert this summer.

The former South African President is keen for the 90s girl band - who announced they will split again after their comeback world tour finishes this month - to perform one last time at the milestone event at London's Hyde Park in June.

Geri Halliwell claims the Spice Girls are unlikely to ever perform as a five-piece again.

The group recently announced their reunion tour was coming to an early close on February 26 and Ginger Spice Geri says fans won't get another chance to see them.

Victoria Beckham is the reason the Spice Girls have cut their world tour short. Victoria told her bandmates - Emma Bunton, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Mel B - she was tired of performing, forcing them to scrap several concert dates, and wants to focus on her fashion career and her children.

The 33-year-old star, who has three children with her soccer star husband David, said: "I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn't want to send out a confused message. The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was once a pop star."

Mel B took her husband to a strip club and paid for him to have a private lap dance. The Spice Girl - who has just finished the Manchester leg of the band's comeback world tour - and Stephen Belafonte paid two sexy dancers to perform for each other at Manchester's Fantasy Bar on Friday night.

An insider said: "Mel looked more than happy to be here. She was really excited when the girls started dancing around them. I think she was eyeing them up more than her husband."

Mel B shocked parents at a recent Spice Girls concert after making crude and sexual remarks on stage. Mel, nicknamed Scary Spice, joked with fellow bandmates Mel C and Emma Bunton about her sex life, despite children being in the audience at London's O2 arena.

Baby Spice Emma was celebrating her 32nd birthday on Friday and was given a birthday cake and candles on stage, before Mel B told her to "give it a blow job" - a reference to oral sex.

The Spice Girls have been offered £10 million to perform in Australia.

The band - who have already performed in Canada, the US, Spain, Germany and the UK - have reportedly been offered the massive deal to extend their tour Down Under.
