Eminem slams his autobiography publisher. The rapper superstar's label, Interscope Records, has lashed out at Orion Publishing Group, the U.K-based publisher who will handle his autobiography, for talking hastily about his book.

"It's unfortunate that someone who does not have intimate knowledge of [the project] felt compelled to jump the gun on announcing it by delivering partial and inaccurate information," the label says in a statement adding that there is no firm release date of the book.

Eminem almost teleported into the box office. The rapper superstar nearly landed Hayden Christensen's role in 'Jumper,' the film's director Doug Liman reveals.

"We did have conversations with Eminem," he tells MTV News. "If I've proven anything to myself, it's that I can tailor a role to an actor. [I could] develop the role with [someone like Eminem] and make it extremely specific to them. So as long as the person has acting chops, I'm open to talking to almost anybody for almost any role."

Eminem is set to become an ambassador for Slim-Fast. The rap star, famously known as 'Slim Shady', has piled on weight recently and allegedly tops the scales at over 200lbs.

He has now been approached by the weight loss food and drink manufacturer, famous for its diet shakes, to try out their products and become one of their "success stories."

Weightloss company Slim-Fast has offered rapper Eminem an endorsement deal.

The diet product company wants to get the big selling rapper to become their spokesmodel upon learning of his weight problems.

After a hospital scare, Eminem is now "doing well" and recovering at his home. The rapper had been rushed to the hospital for severe pneumonia over the holidays.

"Over the holidays, Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem, was under doctor's care at a Detriot-area hospital for complications due to pneumonia. He has been released and is doing well recovering at home," Eminem's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, says.
