Eminem's second divorce from high school sweetheart Kim Mather's became final on December 19 after spending most of the year in mediation.
The rapper and Kim Mather's filed for divorce just 82 days after they wed. In the initial court papers, Eminem cited, "a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved."
The couple share both legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Hallie Jade, who is a frequent inspiration for many of the stars songs.
After months of fighting, the fiery couple were warned about their behavior, which turned out to be pleasant during the private hearing. Judge Antonio Viviano told reporters, 'both conducted themselves with dignity and respect. They were a pleasure."
Eminem is currently having success in the charts with his single "Smack That" with Akon and his latest album "Eminem Presents: The Re-Up" both edging to the number one spot.
