Things reportedly got ugly on Wednesday night between two Hollywood stars. It is said that Elijah Wood and Jared Leto got into at an awards show.
The "Lord of the Rings" star exchanged words with the 30 Seconds To Mars lead singer at the MTV U Woodie Awards, resulting in Leto trying to punch him.
An eyewitness told Dlisted.com, "Jared came over to Elijah's table and puts his arm on Elijah's back and started whispering stuff in his ear - occasionally pulling back to look him in the face."
The eyewitness added, "Jared then walked away and Elijah turned to his date for the evening, friends and said something. This must have annoyed Jared because he came running back to the table, grabbed Elijah by the neck and started screaming at him."
Jared was overheard calling Elijah a "f***ing a*****e." He then shoved Elijah and stormed off. Security arrived but Elijah assured everyone he was fine.
Jared attended the awards show with his rock band and was said to be "working the tables" during the ceremony.
Elijah reportedly smoked heavily throughout the event.

They did not have a "brawl", and Leto did not try to punch Wood. According to every other report out there (except yours), they exchanged some words, and then Leto grew heated and pulled Wood toward him by the back of the neck and yelled at him, including the quote you gave and one other, something about Leto's brother. Then he shoved Wood and stormed off. The so-called "fight" was only on Leto's part.
And what does Wood's smoking have to do with the incident, anyway?

Okay. So Elijah did something to make Jared mad. Maybe said something in an interview or about Shannon (Jared's bro). Jared does like his personal life getting into things. He won't even answer questions about his childhood in an interview. So maybe Eljah told of something from Jared's past and it made him angry. Jared isn't gay, srupid, or an idiot. He's just private and deserves to choose it that way. It shouldn't matter to you people who've only listened to 30 Seconds to Mars' song "The Kill" but not "Buddha for Mary". Or only watched his movies AFTER you supposedly "fell in love" with him for "The Kill."
Grow up. Jared's 35 and Elijah's in his twenties. They're big boys.

I don't see why Jared is so in the wrong here. Elijah obviously had a part in it too so stop putting it all on Jared just because you wish you were as rich, popular or as good looking as him. And sorry but for everyone dissing him, his band, and his music.
